Hearing Protection Devices

Hearing protection, who needs this right? All I am doing is mowing the lawn, listening to one of my favoriate bands, doing hunting and I may only use my firearm once. . .

It is very important to protect our hearing from the many different types of noise exposures we can subject our ears to. We live in a noisy environment. Once our ears are subject to damaging levels of noise, the result can end with hearing loss and we cannot reverse this once the damage is done.

There are many types of hearing protection devices out there, and coming in to discuss what’s best for your situation can easy be remedied by scheduling an appointment with Dr. Casey.

Musician earplugs or monitors

Musicians tend to need both hearing protection and monitors. When monitors are used, this allows the musician to hear the music more clearly while still protecting their hearing.  Monitors (in-ear musician monitors, aka IEMs) will require earmold impressions made by Dr. Casey, so that the molds will fit perfectly to the musician’s ears.

If you are in need of customized hearing protection devices (HPD) and/or monitors, schedule your appointment with Dr. Casey to determine which monitors or HPD suits your professional or recreational needs.
